Originally released in 1990, its relentless bassline, dark atmosphere and raw, hypnotic energy helped shape the sound of techno and rave for the decade that followed. Uncompromising and unmistakably underground, it became an anthem without ever losing its raw club identity.
More than three decades later, “Energy Flash” remains a dancefloor weapon and one of the most influential and instantly recognisable tracks in techno history
This official R&S Records 12″ reissue has been remastered by Matt Colton and pressed loud on a single-sided 12″, staying true to its purpose: maximum impact on the dancefloor.
